I have the LBX modular plate carrier and I use not only 1" thick level IV plates, but I stick the First Spear padded plate backers in there as well (at least a good 3/4" of padding), and there's still plenty of room. Your plates should fit with no problem at all.

25-07-2018· Plate bag-So here's a thing-Mediums ARMATUS PCs will fit Medium steel plates, but not MEDIUM ceramics. I had to find this out the hard way (NEW WITH TAGS MG ARMATUS FOR SALE IN MAS GREY PM ME) and swapped to a Large- which fit the ceramic front plate with little room to spare and barely fit the ceramic rear plate. Steels were fine.

Between the Armatus II and 0300S, they seem to be two different types of plate carriers for two different uses? I'm leaning towards the 0300S because it seems to fit my needs a bit better. The Armatus II seems more in line with newer high speed plate carriers with a front panel. That doesn't really interest me but it does seem pretty nifty.
