I found a pair of jungle boots (presumably from the Vietnam war, I say this bc there is the stitching in the heel). What kind of surprised me is that it wasn’t a sole pattern I noticed on a Nylon-leather-canvas jungle boot before. It’s neither a vibram sole or panama sole.

The last nomenclature for Jungle Boots was Boot, Hot Weather, Type I, Black, Hot-Wet and allowed for both OG107 green and black for the nylon sections of the upper.

If you see jungle boots anywhere for under $90, it's cheap imported crap that falls apart. These boots are made to last, take care of them and and you can wear them until the soles wear thru. Leather needs polish.
